Little Cousins

From left to right (Essence Holloway, Bryson & Kennedy Jones)

The day after Thanksgiving we did a family portrait for the Holloways, and we made sure to get the youngest children together.  Bryson and Kennedy are twins born on June 15, 2007 and their cousin, Essence was born two months later on August 15.  According to Essence’s mother, the kids love being with each other.  So this picture is a great way to showcase thier bond.

Bass Engagement

It’s always nice to see two people who confess their love for one another plan a wedding together.  This engagement picture came out great thanks to nature.  Look at the color of the trees and the beauty of the leaves.  You can’t create this in a studio.  That’s one reason why I love doing custom photography!

Brooke Senior Portrait

All the pictures we took of Brooke for her senior portraits were amazing!  They were so good we decided to use this photo in our senior portrait promotion. Our mission at Eyecatch is to capture the true personality of the senior.  We’re not in the business of producing clones.  So if you know a senior who needs portraits taken please tell them to check us out.

Eyecatch Tip of the Month – Nov. 2008

Test a New Camera Before Your Next Trip or Special Event

You should never buy a new digital camera a day before a big trip or special event!  You really need time to learn its features.  I suggest giving yourself at least a week or two to read through the manual, play around with its features and take some test shots.  There is nothing more frustrating than pulling out your new camera to capture that special moment and discovering you forgot to set the image resolution or add or remove the time/date stamp.  These features are important for those who plan to print their photos later.  If the image resolution is set to 1megapixal the quality of your print will be poor, and for those who enjoy seeing the date and time a particular photo was taken the feature has to be preset.  So take it from me, get to know your new camera, and avoid unnecessary headaches.
