Adams Wedding

Posted by dlayton on Dec 14th, 2009

Trey & Kathryn Adams were married in Dallas on July 18 and the Eyecatch photography team was there to cover the gorgeous ceremony and reception. The bride looked exquisite in her beautiful sequined gown and her bridesmaids wore lovely brown dresses. The handsome groom and groomsmen completed the romantic scene. The photos of the couple dancing during the reception were extraordinarily vibrant with the colored lights in the background. Eyecatch designers are putting together their coffee table wedding book now and hope they will enjoy their wedding pictures brought to life for all to see. Many happy wishes to Trey and Kathryn from Eyecatch Design Services, and thank you for the opportunity to help capture forever one of the most memorable days in your lives!

Owen 1 Year

Baby Portaits Dallas

I have watched little Owen grow before my eyes, and it’s been wonderful!  He’s now 1-year-old, and his family called to set up another portrait session.  Wow, how much he’s grown since our last shoot.  Whenever I take pictures of children, I always come away with a huge smile on my face.  Children are to be treasured, and I’m grateful we did our part by providing beautiful pictures the family can enjoy for years to come.  Happy Birthday Little Man!

McCann Engagement

I loved shooting the McCann engagement portraits! Everything about the portrait session was natural, and that’s what I aim for when taking great pictures.

Congratulations to this young couple!

Photography Tip:

If your camera doesn’t allow you to shoot in RAW – shoot in color and do your conversion to black and white later on your computer.

While most digital cameras offer you the option to shoot in black and white you have more control over your end results if you have the color data to work with in your conversion on your computer.

Graham Baby Portrait

What an awesome picture of Dillon peeking out of this gift box!  When I arrived at the Graham home and saw all the presents under their Christmas tree, I knew Dillon would steal the hearts of many if we placed him in one of the gift boxes and took his picture.  The next day when I arrived at my office and showed my staff the picture, they went crazy and couldn’t stop talking about how precious he was!  His parents liked the picture so much they decided to have Christmas postcards made so they could send out to their friends and family.  I’m sure when Dillon becomes an adult he’ll always be reminded of baby in the gift box!

Nature is one of the most beautiful backdrops when doing bridal portraits.  This bride to be could not stop smiling the entire session.  Her excitement and anticipation of her wedding day showed up in every picture.  As a photographer in the city of Dallas, many would think it a challenge to find locations to shoot beautiful pictures, but there are plenty of “sweet” spots in the Dallas area.  Of course when you’re pressed for time sometimes you have to make the best out of what you’re given, and being an experienced photographer has helped me create the most spectactular moments…even in the mist of flat lands and no trees, but as you can see from the photo above, Jessica’s bridal portrait turned out just fine.  Congratulations Jessica!  I’m so glad you included Eyecatch Design Services and I to be a special part of creating memorable portraits for Brent and yourself!

Owen 6 Month Portrait

Posted by dlayton on Jul 19th, 2008

Where did the time go?  Owen is already six months, and from the look of this picture he has his eyes focused on his future!  It’s always a pleasure for us to work with children.  Many photographers don’t have the patience or time, but at Eyecatch Design Services we actually enjoy seeing a curious look on a childs face or a cute smile that appears after seeing their mother or father.  To capture those precious moments in a photo gives us a sense of accomplishment.  We look forward to seeing Owen and many other children blossom into the  people God created them to become.

Allison Senior Portrait

Allison’s senior portrait session went very well.  As you can see from the posted photo, she has a beautiful smile and bright eyes.  I really like how the colors from the flowers in the picture captured her personality.  There were so many great pictures to choose from, but this was one of my favorites.

This photo clearly represents the bond between a mother and daughter!  Ericka seemed really excited to share this special time with her mother.  Seeing Ericka happy warmed my heart as well.
